Help! My friend has turned into a pixel!

Somewhere between the 1980's and the 1990's social interaction began to dissolve into a series of dots and dashes. No we didn't forget how to speak, but we may as well have.

Why is it that we no longer want to speak to each other but prefer instead to write on each others walls and poke etc. No this is not a rant. Well maybe a little.

I just want to know where the real friendships of the 1980's have gone. I was lucky enough to have grown up then and loved every minute of it. (Except the going to school bit)

So I say lets try to spend less time on the computer, call up your friends and get some fresh air. Now, if only I could do that, but instead my mates prefer to stay indoors surfing the net so here I am too. Oh dear, is is really going to be harder than I think?
